The farmers market is not over, yet!
The farmers market season may be winding down, but it’s not over, yet! Join us at the Clear Lake Farmers Market on September 28th, 2024 from 9:00 AM to NOON in the parking lot of the Surf Ballroom & Museum. When you visit, you’ll find a variety of produce, sourdough and salsa (that’s us!), eggs, pottery, freeze dried candies, and more will be available from 50+ vendors, along with live music and kids activities!

This list only states what we know we’re bringing for sure (we say “for sure” with the assumption that nothing crazy will happen, like a suddenly flat tire or Hurricane Helene making it up to North Iowa! 🤪) While writing this, we’re still figuring out what other pie flavors we’re bringing. Benefits of the late season
During this time of year, it seems like everyone starts thinking there’s nothing to do at farmers markets anymore. This is so far from the truth at the Clear Lake Farmers Market! This is the time when the market feels cozy and personal, and the vendors have all their fall favorites available now. The farmers? They’re bringing things like decorative corn stalks and butternut squash. The bakers? You know we’re not letting down the Pumpkin Spice lovers: hello pumpkin spice bread. Even the crafters are fulfilling your crunchy leaf cravings.
We’re still adding new flavors
If you’re one of our farmers market friends who actually reads through the list of items we plan to bring every week (you’re the best!), then you saw that this week’s list has salsa added to it. As the season calms down, gardens wind down, too, and we get a chance to enjoy the final harvest of tomatoes and peppers. Last week, we brought our fresh batch of marinara, and now we get to add our other tomato-y fan favorite.
No rush now
This time of the year is a dream come true for folks who get overstimulated easily! By this point of the year, almost every last vacationer has gone home and left Clear Lake. This is ideal when you don’t feel much like people-ing. You don’t have to wade through thick crowds to see what each booth has to offer -everything is easily accessible and available. The market is so chill and relaxing -this only happens during this time of year (#FallVibes)- we hope you’ll take advantage of it! 😊

Even with the smaller crowds this week, we just want to remind you that there’s an awesome farmers market, and it’s not over, yet! We hope you’ll hang out with us at the Clear Lake Farmers Market this weekend. We’ll be in the Surf Ballroom parking lot from 9 AM until noon. The Clear Lake Farmers Market is the largest farmers market in North Iowa and it’s definitely worth a stop. Set up a reminder, and we’ll see you there!
